FoFPC Version 2.0 is still underway... new information on data replication and data searching
has been added, along with revisions to the existing content. We have outsourced a project to
help us port all of our PDF files over to SWF Flash files and we are looking forward to adding
this to our library. The new solution will allow you to "search" the content of these SWF
documents which will drastically improve your ability for finding assistance here. I am still
working on migrating the old content to the new look and feel. Venom has submitted a revision
to one of the German articles -- and I still ask that those of you who are experienced in
pascal or operating system specific features -- to feel free to submit your articles.
We are still in the process of implementing examples and descriptions for all known FPC
keywords and reserved words, along will the full FreePascal RTL. As you may assume, these
tasks are huge -- but will help both new and experienced programmers. Many people have
started using our free online code highlighter in the tools section.
I would like to extend a special thank you to Shaon for taking on the SWF project and Jit
for assisting in promoting all 5 web aliases for this site. If you are a blogger, or even a
web master, please pass along our http://www.friends-of-fpc.org/ address in your postings.
Most of my efforts have been in building working samples and code snippets in the research
section along with the RTL and Language sections of the site.
Your Webmaster,
G.E. Ozz Nixon Jr.
